3.5 plug connection method: twist one of the channel wires and the shielded wire together, and connect the other (usually red) to the hot end (main port) of the 3.5 plug, and connect the twisted end to the ground port of the 3.5 plug.
XLR connection method: First, you must clearly see the port number of the XLR plug, which is divided into 1, 2, and 3. Connect the wire at the hot end of the 3.5 plug to port 2 of the XLR plug first, and do not twist the other two wires together, but connect them to ports 1 and 3 of the XLR plug respectively.
How to connect a two-core audio cable: If it is a two-core audio cable, the 3.5 plug is connected to the hot end and ground end of the audio cable respectively, and the XLR plug is still connected to port 2 with the hot end, while ports 1 and 3 need to be short-circuited with wires and then the shielded wire of the audio cable is soldered.
Note: Since the 3.5 plug is relatively small, it is easy to cause a short circuit between the live and ground wires. It is best to use a piece of cloth to separate the two wires!
